Who we are

Lantern is a service of Andro, obrt za poslovne usluge, a sole proprietorship registered in Croatia (owner Andro Jukić Nuhanović, Palinovečka ulica 41, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB 14048183747). We are the controller of the personal data described below. Because we are established in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to how we handle it. This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no forms. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and to follow up on what you asked.

Emails we send to accounting firms

We email accounting, bookkeeping and tax firms in the United States to offer our service. We use business contact details the firm publishes itself, on its Google Business Profile or its website: the firm’s name, its business email address, the name of the person that address belongs to when the website shows it, and public information about the firm on Google (such as its number of reviews, rating and where it appears in Google Maps results, which we check ourselves).

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering a relevant service to businesses (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Every email says who we are and gives a simple way to opt out. If you reply “stop” or object in any other way, we stop at once and keep only your email address on a suppression list, so that we never contact you again. Otherwise we delete these details no later than 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.

Our clients’ data

When a firm becomes our client, we handle the inquiries sent through its website and the contact details of its clients who receive review requests on the firm’s behalf, as its processor, under the terms in our agreement. We never ask for or handle tax return information, Social Security numbers or accounting records.

Service providers

We use Vercel (website hosting), Google Workspace (email) and Instantly (sending our emails to firms). Some of them process data in the United States; those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We never sell personal data.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction of its use, or a copy of it, and you can object to our use of it at any time, by writing to andro@lanternforfirms.com. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Croatian data protection authority (Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka, azop.hr).
